October 4-5, at the Sokolniki Exhibition Center, Smile-Expo held the sixth international conference on affiliate marketing, Russian Affiliate Congress (RACE) 2017.
Smile-Expo is the organizer of international exhibitions, conferences and summits on advanced technologies. We give special attention to the affiliate industry.
At RACE 2017, we invited more than 40 experts from Finland, Canada, India, Britain and Russia. Due to the world-renowned names of speakers, the conference was attended by more than 600 people!
In order to take into account interests of all market players and at the same time to use time as productive as possible, we divided the conference into three streams: Webmasters, Advertisers and Mobile & Traffic.
The Webmaster hall discussed trends of affiliate marketing, monetization of traffic in 2018 and prospects of influence marketing.
Anton Petrochenkov, the CEO at Convert Monster, spoke about the ideal landing page, and Vyacheslav Prokhorov, the myTarget expert, – about new features in the service (pre-roll, out-stream native video advertising, audio advertising, banners).
Another distinctive report was that of Kirill Balakhtin, the Business Development Director at Buzzoola, who considered the market of native advertising almost under a microscope.
Invited to the Advertisers hall were directors, analysts and managers of affiliate systems and digital agencies who covered the following issues:
• combating fraud traffic (Konstantin Novofastovskiym the Head of ClickFrog);
• monetization of bloggers and outsourcing in the industry (representatives of FOREO: Frank Ravanelli, the Head of Affiliates - EMEA & Asia, and Ekaterina Russo, EMEA Affiliate Marketing Specialist);
• mistakes when working with retargeting in e-commerce (Anton Melekhov, the General Director at RTB House, Russia).
We organized the Mobile & Traffic stream to cover the topics of programmatic video, Big Data in mobile advertising and blockchain in affiliate marketing.
In addition, thanks to the workshop from HumanVideo Director Vladimir Kobyakov, our guests learned about the features of selling video at the preproduction stage, as well as how to calculate the estimate.
In his turn, Daniil Silantyev the Executive Partner at Inbox Marketing, spoke about psychological laws that can help to increase the efficiency of transitions.
Besides B2B halls, we organized a large expo with 14 companies: PostRadar, Tekka Digital, Capitalist.net, Doubletrade, Rootpay, Inside, Collectcent, Cyberian.tech, AMarkets, Foreo, Unisender and others. Attendees were able to get acquainted with the latest products of the affiliate and related industries.
